Pony Club
Katie is an Accredited Pony Club Coach who works with several local Pony Clubs, sharing her passion and experience with the next generation of riders. Having been a dedicated member of the Essex Union Pony Club from the age of four to twenty-four, she grew up immersed in Pony Club life — progressing through the disciplines, taking part in rallies, camps, and competitions, and beginning her journey into coaching and examinations. Now, as a qualified coach, Katie finds it incredibly rewarding to give back to the organisation that played such a formative role in her equestrian journey. She takes great pride in helping young riders develop their skills, confidence, and love for the sport, while continuing to uphold the values and spirit of the Pony Club.
Available for rallies, training and camps.

Confidence Dressage
Want to feel more confident and prepared in the competition arena?
Our Confidence Competition Clinic at Radley Green is designed for riders of all levels who want to conquer nerves, sharpen their skills, and perform at their best—when it counts.
This unique event bridges the gap between a training clinic and a real competition, giving you the best of both worlds.
➡️How it works:
🐴Morning Lesson:
-
Start your day with a focused lesson tailored to you and your horse. We’ll break down your test, work through each movement, and highlight key areas to help you ride with accuracy and confidence. You’ll get practical tips on learning your test and riding it correctly, with individual feedback on what you and your horse can improve.
🏆Afternoon Competition:
-
In the afternoon, step into competition mode. You’ll have a 15-minute warm-up with our coach, Katie, to fine-tune your preparation and settle any last-minute nerves. Then, ride your test in a supportive, realistic competition setting. Afterwards, receive a constructive debrief from both the dressage judge and Katie, focusing on positive takeaways and areas for further improvement.
-
Prizes and rosettes will be awarded from 1st to 6th place—so you get the real competition experience!
-
Dress in show gear or come in casual riding wear, the choice is yours!
-
Supportive, no-pressure environment with support from start to finish.
➕You’re welcome to take part in just the morning lesson or just the competition, but the biggest benefits come from doing both. Stabling is available for the day too.
