Katie Hamilton
Equestrian Performance Coach
& Reformed Riders Founder
Katie Hamilton is the founder of Reformed Riders and a lifelong equestrian who has ridden in many disciplines up to National level.
With a BSc (Hons) in Human & Equine Sports Performance, Katie combines her experience as a rider and coach with specialist knowledge of biomechanics, mindset, strength and conditioning, fitness and Pilates.
As a BHS Accredited Professional Level 3 Coach, Katie has worked with riders of all ages and abilities, from Pony Club to International riders, helping them understand how their own body and brain can influence their horse and their performance.
Her approach is centred around the individual rider — identifying mindset, imbalances, improving strength, mobility, balance and body awareness, and creating practical changes that transfer directly into the saddle.
Through Reformed Riders, Katie’s aim is to help riders become stronger, more confident and more effective, while creating a better connection between horse and rider.

Katrina Hall
Reformed Riders & BD Coach
Katrina is a British Dressage Certified Coach (Level 2) and dressage rider based in the Chelmsford area. Having competed up to Advanced Medium with her previous pony and now producing an exciting young horse, Katrina understands the huge influence a rider has on their horse’s way of going. She believes that small, consistent improvements in the rider can have a significant impact on performance, confidence, and competition results.
Passionate about rider position and biomechanics, Katrina enjoys helping riders develop greater balance, effectiveness, and communication in the saddle. By improving the rider’s understanding of how their body influences the horse, she aims to create more harmonious partnerships and unlock each combination’s full potential.
Katrina is delighted to be part of the Reformed Riders team, working alongside Katie to support riders of all levels. She is excited to share her knowledge, help riders achieve their goals, and contribute to Reformed Riders’ innovative approach to rider performance and equestrian coaching.

Dave
The dressage simulator
Meet Dave — our Racewood mechanical horse and one of the most unique members of the Reformed Riders team.
Dave is a very good boy. He doesn’t buck, bolt, spook or have an opinion about your riding — making him the perfect partner for analysing and improving rider biomechanics!
Dave allows riders to experience and analyse their position, balance and movement in a controlled environment, without the variables that come with riding a live horse.
Using the simulator, we can slow things down, identify patterns and give riders immediate feedback on how their body is moving — helping them understand what they need to change and why.
Whether you’re working on your position, improving your balance, addressing asymmetries or simply wanting to understand your own riding better, Dave gives us the opportunity to take rider biomechanics out of the saddle and really focus on the rider.
